海外の偉人の名言集 プラトン （英訳付）

プラトン Marcus Tullius Cicero
BC427年 - BC347年
古代ギリシアの哲学者である。ソクラテスの弟子にして、アリストテレスの師に当たる。
	アテネの名門に生れ若くしてソクラテスと交わり，最も正義の人と信じてやまなかったソクラテスの不条理な死と，当時の政治情勢に対する失望から哲学の道に入った。アテナイ郊外に学園（アカデメイア）を創設。現象界とイデア界、感性と理性、霊魂と肉体とを区別する二元論的認識論において、超越的なイデアを真実在と説き、ヨーロッパ哲学に大きな影響を残した。その著作のほとんどはソクラテスを中心とする対話篇である。著「ソクラテスの弁明」「ファイドン」「饗宴」「国家」「法律」など。
